NAFSA recently held its inaugural international education video contest in which institutions were invited to submit short videos demonstrating how their international education initiatives promote peace and justice through:
- Bridging cultural boundaries
- Contributing to global health and development
- Encouraging environmental sustainability
- Helping prepare global-ready graduates
The winner and finalists were announced during NAFSA’s 2012 Annual Conference in Houston. Because NAFSA received so many engaging entries that celebrate international education, we would like to continue to share them with you. Today we highlight videos from Quinnipiac University (Hamden, Connecticut), Eastern Mennonite University (Harrisonburg, VA), and Service for Peace (Bridgeport, Connecticut).

It is so impressive to see young people engaging in global peace and service projects. This is why studying and living abroad should be an instrumental part of the university experience.
